First of all know who is Nancy Tyagi Gajendra Tyagi is a mechanic, transporter and farmer living in Baranwa, Uttar Pradesh. He has a small shop in the market. Gajendra runs the house. Gajendra is survived by wife Maya, daughter Nancy and son Manu. Son and daughter studied in a village school, after which the daughter went to Delhi to prepare for UPSC.

Corona came sometime after Nancy went to Delhi. Everything has come to a standstill due to the lockdown. Then Nancy took her mother's old sewing machine and started sewing her clothes. While getting her clothes ready, suddenly Nancy shared a video on social media and it went viral.

Nancy has studied from Hara Inter College in Meerut till Intermediate. Then in 2020, Nancy Tyagi and brother Manu Tyagi started studying in Delhi with their mother.

Along with her studies, Nancy Tyagi started fashion designing in Delhi and sewed clothes at home after seeing the clothes of big fashion designers. She then makes a reel out of that cloth. With his help, she started getting recognition all over the world.

She wore her own designed outfits on the red carpet

Nancy has dominated Cannes with both her beauty and gowns. Manu said - When we knew we were going to Cannes, we thought we would not be exhibiting clothes made by others there. Nancy decided that designing led her to the show and wore the gown she designed. After this we both started thinking about outfit designing.

20 kg gown made from 1000 meters fabric for festival

Nancy designed a special baby pink rose frill gown for the red carpet main show. The Shree piece gown is of net fabric. Bought an entire 1100 meter net fabric for the gown from the Delhi wholesale market. This gown is made from 1000 meters of this fabric. Its weight is 20 kg. The gown is in Mr. Peace men's gown, gloves and tail.

Manu said - Nancy herself worked day and night for a month to design this gown and stitched it at home with a machine. She had decided to show off the gown she had made. Apart from net, the gown has motifs work. Mother and father have also fully cooperated in this work.


Made 4 dresses for the show

Nancy created a total of 4 dresses for the Cannes Festival. The main dress was a pink gown that she showcased on the red carpet. Apart from this, 3 more dresses have come out in the show. It was as difficult for Nancy to make this gown as it was to transport it from India to France.

To pack the 20 kg gown, three large container bags had to be specially designed so that the gown could be easily placed in it. Separate baggage booking has to be done for that.

I had never dreamed so big

Talking to the paparazzi in Cannes in Hindi, Nancy said - her dream was not big enough to be where she stands today. She made a gown for herself using 1000 meters of cloth in just one month. My journey was tough, but every moment was precious.
