He said that if Aurangzeb comes to this city, Shivaji also stands up.  Kashi is Kashi!  Kashi is imperishable and there is only one government in Kashi, those who have damru in their hands have their government.  The temple area which was earlier here in only three thousand square feet, has now become about 5 lakh square feet.  Now 50 to 75 thousand devotees can come to the temple and temple premises.

To inaugurate the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the Center and the Government of UP have organized a mega event in Varanasi.  PM Modi, who arrived here at around 11.30 on Monday, is on a 30-hour stay in Varanasi.  From here, PM Modi not only gave the message of divine and grand Kashi, but also gave edge to the call of BJP cultural heritage for the UP elections.

First attendance at Kal Bhairav ​​temple

Journey from Khirkiyang Ghat, Lalita Ghat to Kashi Vishwanath

From Kal Bhairav ​​temple, PM Modi reached Khirkiyanghat with his convoy.  On the way people were showering flowers on him.  PM Modi and CM Yogi took stock of the entire ghat at Khirkiya Ghat.  From here on a cruise, PM Modi reached Lalita Ghat.  During this, CM Yogi was also with him.  At Lalita Ghat, PM Modi descended into the Ganges river and took a bath.  After bathing in the Ganges, PM worshiped Mother Ganga and Lord Surya.

Grand welcome at Kashi Vishwanath Temple

PM Modi reached Kashi Vishwanath temple from Lalita Ghat.  Here he was given a grand welcome amidst the slogan of Har Har Mahadev and the echo of Damru.  After this, PM Modi sat on religious rituals in Kashi Vishwanath temple.  After worshiping by law, PM Modi performed Jalabhishek of Mahadev.  After this, PM Modi met the cleaning workers of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and posed for pictures with them.

Kashi Vishwanath Corridor inaugurated

PM Modi later duly inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.  After this PM Modi gave his address speech.  The PM said that this grand Dham will make people feel the glory of the past.  Now 50-60 thousand devotees can come to the temple and temple premises.  This whole new complex of Vishwanath Dham is not just a grand building, it is a symbol of the eternal culture of our India, it is a symbol of our spiritual soul.  It is a symbol of the antiquity of India, of the traditions.  This building is a symbol of India's energy, dynamism.  The temple area which was earlier here in only three thousand square feet, has now become about 5 lakh square feet.

When Aurangzeb comes, Shivaji also stands up - PM

Prime Minister Modi said that in history Kashi was under the eyes of terrorists.  PM Modi said, "Terrorists attacked this city. Aurangzeb tried to crush civilization with the help of sword. But the soil of this country is different from the whole world. If Aurangbez comes here then Shivaji also gets up."  If any Salar Masood moves here, then brave warriors like King Suheldev make him feel the power of our unity. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that for me Janardan is the form of God, every Indian is a part of God, so he wants to ask for something.  They want three resolutions not for themselves, but for the country - cleanliness, creation and continuous efforts for self-reliant India.  Explaining his points, PM Modi said that the long period of slavery broke the confidence of Indians in such a way that we lost faith in our own creation.  From this thousands of years old Kashi, he calls upon every countryman to create with full confidence.
